Since 2014, A Place Where Children Actually Get To Move

Nandini Layout is one of the greenest pockets in West Bangalore. We built the school around that instead of fighting it. Children here spend part of every day outdoors, in a sand pit, a splash pool and an open play area.

Indoors, sessions are Montessori-inspired and hands-on. A morning might mean sorting shapes, then singing, then digging outside, then a story. Worksheets come much later. We teach in English, and children hear Kannada and Hindi through songs and stories.

Aqua Kids International has been running in Nandini Layout since 2014. We take children from one year ten months up to five years, across Play Group, Nursery, LKG and UKG, with daycare running alongside.

Children between two and five learn with their hands and their whole body. They do not learn by copying from a board. So the day is built around doing things. Sessions rotate through activity work, music, dance, yoga, sport and outdoor play.

Progress is tracked child by child rather than class by class. Children move up a stage when they are ready, not when the calendar says so.
